Gabriel and the designer Ion Fiz have handcrafted the collection Aftersun for MBFW. Aftersun is a mixed collection inspired by the sea. The collection is based on light materials such as silk and cotton and is decorated using marine and coral tones. Gabriel’s work uses subtle strokes that simulate waves and bring back memories of sea breezes, dunes and coral reefs. The collection anticipates the coming summer.

Quarto Publishing / Christian Gralingen
Christian Gralingen was commissioned by Quarto Publishing to create illustrations for the cover and 45 spreads of a book ‘That was Genius’ about lost knowledge and incredible inventions from history. Author: Emily Dodd. Art Direction was by Alex Hithersay and Maia Fjord. Christian was born in Essen (Germany) and now lives and works as an Art Director and Illustrator, as well as teaching Illustration and Communication Design, in Berlin. He has a diploma in Communication Design from the University Duisburg-Essen (Folkwang). His client list includes design agencies, publishing houses, magazines, academic institutions and foundations. His aesthetics have many influences but are particularly inspired by the imagery of scientific publications, construction plans and technical drawings.
Liquid Visions Beers / BrewDog
BrewDog has a long history of commissioning cutting-edge illustration for its beers. Early this year it commissioned Début Art represented illustrators Jordi Ros, Simon Prades and Andy Bourne to create imagery for three of its Liquid Visions beers. Art Direction by the great Chris Whyte.
